Blanton's Miniature Bourbon was the first Blanton's created for ambassadors, dignitaries, and Colonel Blanton’s family and friends. This bourbon is made with a sour mash of corn, rye and malted barley before maturing in American White Oak casks. The nose on this one is very deep, and satisfying with incredibly sweet hints of caramel, vanilla, nutmeg, and citrus. Prominent dry vanilla notes on the palate with subtle hints of honey amid strong caramel and corn. On the palate blends of sweet vanilla, tangy orange citrus and subtle lemon. The finish is medium composed of returning corn, vanilla, and nutmeg flavors .
