Introducing Lagavulin Offerman Edition Charred Oak Cask. Nick is a lover of all things wood, Lagavulin and steak. By combining these three passions, a most delectable and exceptional whisky is born. We collected charismatic casks of American White Oak, with a few European Oak thrown in for culture, all of which had previously held either scotch or wine. The cask interiors were shaved down and then heavily re-charred before we filled them with our golden 11-year single malt whisky for maturation. The perfect whisky to accompany any medium-rare steak. With hints of vanilla, red berries, sea salt brine and Lagavulin's signature smoke, this whisky not only shines on its own, but highlights and accentuates those perfect steak flavors.
