High West A Midwinter Night's Dram Act 14 is a blend of straight rye whiskeys aged four to ten years, finished in Port and Sherry casks and bottled non-chill filtered at 98.6 proof — a 20th anniversary release.

Act 14 begins with Rendezvous Rye, combining MGP rye (95% rye, 5% malted barley) with High West pot-still rye (80% rye, 20% malted rye). Created to commemorate High West Distillery's 20th anniversary, it expands the series' traditional Ruby and Tawny Port finishing with Amontillado, Oloroso, and Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks, layering rye spice with dark fruit, nuts, preserves, and warming dessert spices. Bottled without chill filtration at 49.3% ABV (98.6 proof).

Tasting Notes

Nose: Wild strawberries, blackberry-lemon preserves, singed apple, honeycomb, sandalwood, and warm figs in leather.
Palate: Blood orange, cherry fruit leather, cinnamon-dusted plum, quince jam, cold-brew coffee, toasted hazelnuts, and hickory.
Finish: Rich and vibrant, with lingering berry preserves, pastry, and warming rye spice.
