It begins in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then is finished across a curated selection of Marsala, Matusalem Oloroso sherry, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc casks. This five-cask maturation builds richness and complexity, delivering bold, structured flavor — the richer, more complex sibling to the standard Cigar Malt Reserve, with a full 18-year age statement.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Chocolate orange, dried fig, and dark fruit, with hints of aromatic oud and sandalwood.
Palate: Forest berries, sticky dates with orange marmalade, dark chocolate, and cinnamon spice.
Finish: Long and lingering, with layers of dark fruit, nutmeg, and cinnamon.

Specifications

Distillery: The Dalmore
Style: Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (Cigar Malt Signature Reserve, Limited Release)
Age: 18 Years
Maturation: Ex-bourbon, Marsala, Matusalem Oloroso sherry, Cabernet Sauvignon & Cabernet Franc casks
ABV: 46% (92 proof)
Region: Highlands, Scotland
Size: 750mL

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0579/7222/8275/files/D3EA2F2F-DE6F-4BF2-AB52-45A00586AEFF.webp?v=1791330520
