2018 William Larue Weller Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

The 2018 William Larue Weller Kentucky Straight Bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery’s celebrated Antique Collection embodies refined luxury in every pour. Distilled in the winter of 2006 and released in fall 2018, this rare and highly collectible whiskey is crafted from a mash bill of Kentucky corn (#1 & #2 distiller’s grade), North Dakota wheat, and malted barley. Aged 12 years and 6 months in 149 carefully selected new white oak barrels (#4 char), it was bottled at a robust 125.7 proof. The result is a layered bourbon that opens with aromas of warm apricot toast, molasses, coconut, and vanilla cream. On the palate, sweet cherries mingle with fig preserves, citrus, honey, and a touch of spice, creating a truly exceptional drinking experience.
