Heaven Hill Distillery proudly announces the release of the Bernheim Original Kentucky Straight Wheat Whiskey 20th Anniversary Limited Edition, commemorating two decades since Bernheim introduced a groundbreaking style of American whiskey and helped spark the modern whiskey renaissance.

Originally launched in 2005, Bernheim Original Wheat Whiskey became the first new American whiskey style introduced since Prohibition, boldly featuring soft winter wheat as its primary grain. This category-defining innovation marked a pivotal moment in American whiskey history—one that continues to influence the industry today.

Crafted from Bernheim’s signature soft winter wheat mashbill, this 20th Anniversary Limited Edition features a curated selection of barrels aged 10 years and is bottled at 115 proof (57.5% ABV). The result is a rich, complex whiskey that honors both tradition and innovation. Produced at the historic Bernheim Distillery and aged in Bardstown, Kentucky rickhouses, this small-batch release reflects Heaven Hill’s continued commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

The whiskey displays a bright copper hue, opening with aromas of cinnamon and baking spices layered with notes of vanilla and oak. On the palate, it delivers rich flavors of molasses and butterscotch, finishing with a warm, lingering peppery spice.
