Brand History
Peerless Distillery, a venerable name in the world of spirits, stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of American craftsmanship and tradition. With a heritage dating back over a century, Peerless has consistently upheld its reputation for producing exceptional bourbon whiskey of unparalleled quality.
Founded in Henderson, Kentucky, in 1889 by Henry Kraver, Peerless Distillery quickly established itself as a distinguished purveyor of fine spirits. Under Kraver's meticulous guidance, Peerless garnered acclaim for its commitment to using only the finest grains, combined with time-honored distillation techniques passed down through generations.
Despite facing challenges during the Prohibition era, Peerless persevered, maintaining its dedication to excellence. In 1917, the distillery ceased production of spirits, yet it endured as a symbol of resilience and determination.
In 2015, Peerless Distillery was revitalized by fourth-generation descendants Corky and Carson Taylor. Reawakening the family legacy, they painstakingly restored the distillery to its former glory, blending modern innovation with time-tested craftsmanship.
Today, Peerless stands as a beacon of Kentucky bourbon, crafting small-batch, single-barrel bourbon whiskey that exemplifies the pinnacle of the distiller's art. Every bottle bears the hallmark of uncompromising quality, reflecting the dedication and passion that have defined Peerless for generations.
