Maker's Mark Cellar Aged 2026 is the fourth annual release in the distillery's limestone-cellar-matured series — a cask-strength wheated bourbon blending 11-, 12-, and 14-year-old whiskey, bottled at 112.1 proof.
The 2026 Cellar Aged combines 49% 11-year-old, 33% 12-year-old, and 18% 14-year-old bourbon — one of the most mature blends Maker's Mark has released. After beginning maturation in traditional Kentucky warehouses, selected barrels are transferred to the distillery's limestone cellar at Star Hill Farm, held around 50°F. The cooler cellar slows oak extraction while allowing continued oxidation, preserving the fruit, sweetness, and soft texture of the Maker's wheated profile while developing richness and complexity without excessive bitterness. Bottled at cask strength, 56.05% ABV (112.1 proof).
Nose: Dark cherry, clove, vanilla bean, and soft orchard fruit.
Palate: Enveloping layers of honey, brown sugar, ripe plum, vanilla, and mature oak.
Finish: Warming and silky, with almond, nutmeg, crisp green apple, and lingering sweetness.
