Thomas S. Moore is an ultra-premium whiskey brand created by Barton 1792 Distillery (owned by Sazerac Company Inc.) to honor the distillery's founder, Thomas S. Moore. The line specializes in Extended Cask Finished Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskeys. These releases break from the standard bourbon tradition by undergoing a lengthy secondary maturation (typically 2 to 4 years) in a variety of unique wine and spirit casks from around the globe, including Port, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon barrels.
